Critical Conversation Skills—Zoom Online series—July 2020

July 30, 2020 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm EDT

4 weekly sessions Wednesdays 6:30 pm Eastern time July 9, 16, 23, and 30. Each session will last approximately 90 minutes.

How do you react when you hear the words “Can we talk?” or “I need to talk to you about something.” What are the consequences of that reaction? At that moment, you know you’re about to have a critical conversation. Nothing good ever happens after you hear the words without some specific skills.

Crucial conversations often come up when we are unprepared and often taken aback. They trigger the same primitive part of our brain that was reserved for dealing with survival. Actually, there are only three ways of dealing with important conversations:

  1. Respond to it well equipped
  2. Take it head-on and fail
  3. Avoid it altogether and create more intensity

Which one are you? I’m an avoider. I work at changing that and doing it well. Perhaps you’re ready for some new skills too. When a critical conversation comes up, you can learn how to effectively deal with it differently and in any situation.

Registration for this event is now closed.

$44 for all 4 sessions (no individual sessions price available)
6:30 pm Eastern time weekly on Wednesday for 4 weeks. No one will be turned away.
If you are unable to pay the full amount, use the Donation option to register and decide how much you are able to pay.
